Warm Weather Makes for Easy Scouting

Take advantage of the weather depending on where you live.

If you're anything like me, you're the type who does most of the their hunting in the fall months and spend your time fishing during the summer.

Well, I thought I'd pass along a couple of tips that you might want to consider.

Spend some time out in the woods this summer and get to know where your buck likes to roam. You can even buy one of those fancy infrared cameras to take pictures when your animal walks by.

You've got plenty of time now to scout out a lot of locations.

Bear season is coming up first though, so why not use the camera to find ya one. You might even be able to find a nice stand where you can set up an ambush.

We've got a number of Big Game seasons here in Washington State as I'm sure you do where you live.

The main point of all of this is to start planning for your hunts now so that when the hunting time comes you can spend it hunting and not scouting!
